Well, here's something new. A waffle maker that makes... waffle shots?
The Waffler is a prototype of a waffle maker at Quirky, a social product development company. Quirky is like a product development version of Threadless, the popular t-shirt company that allows community members to vote on t-shirt designs before deciding which ones to actually print. Quirky creates prototypes of interesting products and then, if enough users pre-order a particular product, they put it into production.
This particular product is a very interesting little waffle maker. It has interchangeable plates, so you can still make the more familiar style of waffles. An additional plate, though, lets you create waffle "shots", or cups, that can be filled with fruit or other toppings. How fun!

That's brilliant! Though I wonder how well the cups would hold up to fruit and such. And I know that the first thing I'd put in it wouldn't be fruit but ice cream...just to relive the glory days of college where we'd have a waffle and ice cream for dessert (or, indeed, sometimes dinner itself).
This would be perfect for folks on low calorie meal plans!
That looks fantastic! I love bowls that you can eat!
