The holidays kill me. Seriously. I walk around my house talking about fudge and barks and all sorts of things that involve sugar. It's like regular food doesn't exist and all I can think about it baking. It's a problem. A tasty, tasty problem. Barks, bars and bon bons or truffles are all quick to make and a bit more fun than more traditional, fussy baking can be. Here's 15 favorites:
Here's a few of my favorites and I'm determined to make them all. Hopefully I have enough events and parties to attend that they don't hang around the house too long (or at all, nom nom nom)!

Red-and-Pink-Stripe...

Orangette's Peppermint Bark should be on this list! It's so much more than just any old bark.

I know readers have suggested this in the past, and it has been successfully implemented on this site...but this article is the sort that really needs the links for each recipe to appear underneath the photo. It's much more convenient than scrolling back and forth, trying to figure out which link goes to which picture (yes, I realize they are in order, but still). It's not always obvious from the picture what the matching title may be.
That said, some of this looks delicious, so thank you for sharing.
Kakugori - That's something we usually do, but I figured that since they're split row by row by each type of foods that it might not be too tricky to navigate! I'll make sure and include them next time.
I LOVE peppermint bark. But it's so darned expensive (for something so relatively easy to make, I imagine). So I wait until after christmas and try to buy it on sale. Why is it so expensive?
emmmmma - Like most things during the holidays: Because it can be!
Love the roundup!! All very talented bloggers! Thanks so much for including Epicurean Mom!! :)
good chocolate is expensive no matter what season!
I second Kakugori.
Yep, the images should be click-throughs to the actual links. This has been a major problem with all of the AT sites for many years. Listing the links underneath instead of making the images clickable makes NO SENSE. Please fix!
