Canned sardines with chopped onion, diced hot peppers, and a little lime, steamed warm and served over rice.. yum!
I personally love a "ceviche" (used loosely) with canned sardines, red onion, cilantro, and lime.
I like them as a snack, on top of slices of baguette with fresh mozzarella.
I love them shredded and over whole wheat pasta but I've been known to eat it from a can or on top of crackers.
