While we're big fans of the entire bean family, we are a little biased toward the chickpea: Its meaty goodness and adaptability in so many recipes is hard not to love. We always have at least a couple cans in the pantry, ready to be whipped up into quick and easy dinners at a moment's notice. Here are 10 chickpea-centric recipes we love.

1. Vegan Slow Cooker Chickpea Tikka Masala

Toss the makings for this wholesome take on the Indian restaurant favorite in the slow cooker before you head out the door in the morning, and it'll be ready and waiting for you when you get home.
