Floral Drink Dispen...

I've made a version of the orange cake a few times, it's always delicious but the texture is a little bit gummy. Suggestions?
Oooh yay vegan baking recipes! They all sound good but hazelnut and olive oil shortbread particularly appeals..and I love a good raw brownie.
MaryWynn: is it possible that you're over mixing the batter? If you mix too much the gluten in the flour becomes overdeveloped and results in a tough, gummy texture.
I've had very good results with this, using almond milk and... er... more chocolate chips than the recipe TECHNICALLY calls for (I used 150g, which is 5.3oz, and the recipe calls for 3oz, and... yeah).
And then I drizzle melted chocolate over them.
And, once, I added cocoa powder to the batter to make triple-chocolate cookies.
They disappeared pretty fast...
These are the triple-chocolate ones, and this is the first-ever batch I made with a large block of chocolate instead of chocolate chips, so they're technically chocolate chunk.
