Decorative toothpicks (or food picks, rather, if we're being precise) are a fun and easy way to perk up party appetizers. You can DIY these pretty picks—think ribbons and decorative tape—or, if you're not the crafty kind, you can also buy them. They can be practical or simply decorative - you pick! Or, er, they pick. You get the idea.

Cute ideas! They have the bamboo ones (#7) at Amazon for far less.
Those vintage clown picks maybe the creapiest food accoutrements I have ever seen. I'm going to have nightmares about headless creepy clowns stabbing my eyes out.
Some of these are cute, especially the ones in the second photo. I wanted to use some decorative toothpicks for the no bake lemon cream cupcakes this past Sunday and ended up getting one of those cupcake kits that Merri Merri sells. Next time I'll look into making one of these. :-D
joydreamz, you read my mind!!!!!!
I agree the clown picks are more creepy than pretty. I debated whether or not include them in the roundup at all, but decided to do it anyway!
