If you're vegan or considering going vegan, you are probably always interested in fresh sources of inspiration. Here are 10 vegan blogs that we've found helpful, inspiring, and beautiful. Not all are strictly vegan, but all have a lot to offer. Even if you're not vegan, do check these out: they focus on vegetables and grains in a wonderful way that often isn't found in more mainstream food media.
TOP ROW
• 1 Post Punk Kitchen - Isa Chandra Moskowitz is considered one of the best resources on vegan cooking. Fresh, tasty, and awesome — all the recipes in Veganomicon and her other books are worth checking out — whether you're vegan or not!
• 2 VeganYumYum - Lauren Ulm's beautifully-photographed vegan dishes and lovely blog won her a cookbook contract. She has a great cookbook out now, and a fabulous archive of recipes.
• 3 101 Cookbooks - Heidi Swanson's blog isn't strictly vegan, but she has over 100 vegan recipes in her archive. They are all so beautiful, and of such quality, with interesting grains and other ingredients, that we think that they should be a first stop for a vegan cook.
• 4 Would Rather Gather - A new-to-us vegan blog recommended by a friend. We love the clean layout and design of the site, and the fresh and delicious recipes.
• 5 Have Cake Will Travel - This is a new favorite blog! And we only just realized that it's all vegan. Delicious!
MIDDLE ROW
• 6 FatFree Vegan Kitchen - SusanV is such a great resource and inspiration for vegan recipes.
• 7 Vegan Lunchbox - Jennifer is author of Vegan Lunch Box Around the World — and her blog is always practical, down-to-earth, and inspiring.
• 8 C'est La Vegan - Kim owns C’est La V Bakeshop, a vegan bakery, and her blog is a great resource for vegan baked goods of all sorts (and more, too!).
• 9 Manifest Vegan - We are always drawn to Allyson's sunny photos and recipes.
• 10 Mollie Katzen - Mollie's site isn't exactly a blog, but it has such a wealth of recipes and resources from this wonderful author and cook who brought vegetarian cooking into the mainstream.
Your turn! What are your favorite vegan blogs?

Don't forget Vegan Dad: http://vegandad.blogspot.com
I am not vegan, but I still read his blog!
Oh yes! If I had done 11 slots, he would have been the 11th. :)
And mine! :-)
www.veggie101.com
Also Hannah Kaminsky's blog! http://bittersweetblog.wordpress.com/
Don't forget Michael Natkin:
http://www.herbivoracious.com/
Vegetarian but often with vegan recipes.
I posted my Top 10 food bloggers today too! Most are 100% vegan, all have vegan recipes. My list is at: www.theverdantlife.com
Oh She Glows
http://ohsheglows.com
Her recipes are amazing.
Where's Meet The Shannons?!?!
MeetTheShannons.net
They're Betty Crocker Project is revolutionary and pretty much the best thing to happen to veganism since seitan. Their recipes are amazing and are making vegans!
Hi, thanks so much for this list. I've been vegan since September and so my blog always now has vegan options. www.reciperenovator.com
check out ohsheglows.com
I've been really enjoying this weeks Vegan & Vegetarian extravaganza - Thank you!
Meet The Shannons is pretty much the cutest vegan blog in existence. It needs to be on this list. As does Vegan Dad. Vegan Backpacker is an excellent blog for the vegan who travels. Why on earth would you put blogs that just have some vegan recipes when you are ignoring the most famous vegan blogs out there?
Does anyone know what happened to VeganYumYum? She hasn't posted anything in almost a year. I love many of her recipes and I wish there was new content.
VeganYumYum has been on hiatus to work on a book (which is out!) I definitely recommend Vegan Feast Kitchen (http://veganfeastkitchen.blogspot.com) -- the author is one of the longest-lived vegan authors I've ever heard of and her recipes are no-fail.
Two more I'd like to mention, besides my own:
www.veggie-wedgie.com
veganmenu.blogspot.com (what the hell does a vegan eat anyway?)
happyherbivore.com!
Ben stole my line but seriously you can't have vegan week without Meet The Shannons! Best Vegan Blog EVER!
meettheshannons.net
They are cooking their way through the Betty Crocker Cookbook making a vegan version of every recipe. It's crazy to not talk about that.
i really like ohsheglows.
another one i love is http://www.sabjimata.wordpress.com
Another vote for What the Hell Does a Vegan Eat Anyway (htp://veganmenu.blogspot.com). If you think vegan food can't be elegant or sophisticated, this blog will change your mind.
I also love Urban Vegan. (http://www.urbanvegan.net)
http://veganhomecooking.blogspot.com/
my mom has been vegan for over 30 years, and raised all 6 of her kids vegan, this is her blog of simple, homecooked, usually one pot, kid friendly, delicious and quick meals!
I definitely second the votes for Meet the Shannons, I love their site. Herbivoracious (not 100% vegan) is great too. Please also check out my blog, Vegan Good Things! http://vegangoodthings.blogspot.com
I LOVE OhSheGlows. She's just a real person who shows how simple a healthy vegan lifestyle can be.
Of course, I'm also fond of mine!
http://imakefood.tumblr.com and http://creativedish.wordpress.com
Those are all great ones. I also like Vegan Crunk, Your Vegan Mom, and the Gluttonous Vegan.
(And since other people have said so about themselves, I don't feel quite so guilty saying I obviously like my own blog as well.)
http://christinehennessey.blogspot.com/ and http://www.neverhomemaker.com/ are about other things beyond vegan cooking, but they have some good tips and recipes.
Soundly Vegan, for sure. Creative, healthful recipes and beautiful photography.
i love fatfreevegan. i just found this one too and it's great www.veganomics-101.blogspot.com simple, easy, tasty recipes.
My vegan inspiration: Happy Healthy Life http://kblog.lunchboxbunch.com/
Love Oh She Glows, too!
I love so many of those blogs! I recently discovered C'est La Vegan and Manifest Vegan a few months ago - so lovely.
A little shameless self-promotion, though! Check out my vegan recipes blog, Novel Eats. :)

I'm a fan of Chef Chloe Cascarelli's beautiful blog. She's the one who won a Food Network cupcake competition with her vegan cupcakes - http://www.chefchloe.com/blog.html
My blog focuses on vegan cooking from the high desert of New Mexico - http://nanetteblanchard.blogspot.com.
It's not a blog, but an amazing resource for people who travel: http://www.happycow.net/ Anytime I leave my own backyard, whether locally to find a new restaurant, or far away (even internationally!) happycow has great resources for vegetarian and vegan places to eat. It's made life so much easier!
The fact you had an entire vegan weekend never mentioned Meet The Shannons tells me that the people writing this don't know anything about vegans. If you had read some of the blogs you listed you would have seen that they mention Meet The Shannons as a blgo they read and cook from. They are a trendsetting blog. They were recently called "The Vegan's Blog" in the media because they are. They are a blog for people who want to eat good original vegan food and maybe you have to know something about what it means to be vegan to appreciate that.
I adore Meet The Shannons and they are why I started reading vegan blogs again.
love vegan cooking!!!!check this blog too...
