If they are vegan, what does it matter if they are allergic to eggs and lactose?
I am puzzled as to why this is such a huge problem, but lucky that my family has some good recipes (mostly Indian) that would work. For example, the diagram above leaves room for all vegetables, lentils, fruits, and rice. The "extra" stuff like sour cream, yogurt, cheese, breads, and croutons have to go, but a substantial and tasty meal is still in reach that can be enjoyed by all.
