How Can I Dress Up a Grocery Store-Catered Thanksgiving?

Good Questions

Q: I am having a local grocery store-catered Thanksgiving with my grandparents this year. Even though they told me I don't have to bring anything, I would still like to make something special to sort of negate the grocery store quality of the rest of the food. Something savoury because I guess dessert is included with the store stuff. Any suggestions?

Editor: Readers, how would you help Stephanie and her grandparents' Thanksgiving meal? What appetizers, nibbles, or little extras would you suggest she bring? Our thought is to bring a really good appetizer and perhaps some cookies to go with dessert. Nothing that will attempt to upstage the turkey, gravy, and pie, but enough to feel homemade. Any suggestions?
