Any suggestions? Is this a common problem?
Sent by LauraEditor: This is indeed very hard, Laura! We always have a hard time keeping from snacking while preparing dinner. One thought is to have just one very purposeful snack set out for dinnertime prep. A piece of cheese with some walnuts, or some celery with hummus. Not random snacks but an amuse-bouche for the cook to nibble on as you enjoy preparing your meal.
