Well...inflation makes it more like five-buck chuck...
I sure wish the link would work, TJ's seems like a good wine option but I'd like to read the article.
I've been pretty disappointed with TJs wine selections lately.
Two buck Chuck is almost worth what you pay for it. Always has been. I see a lot of people buying it by the case...which I just don't get.
It used to be you could buy 5 or 6 bottles at $5-7 per bottle and come up with at least two or three fairly decent wines. And TJs had them in stock for a while.
Now, if you buy that 5 or 6 bottles at the price mentioned, you're lucky if you get one you'd go back for. And if you DO go back, chances are high TJs has stopped carrying it or been cleaned out by shoppers before you.
These days I'd rather spend on a couple bottles of decent wine and not gamble that I might find something likable.
