Fall is almost here, and what's more appropriate for fall than apple turnovers? Yum! Plus, those Duralex Picardie tumblers are widely available again.

Red-and-Pink-Stripe...

yay picardie tumblers! My husband and I LOVE these. I can't imagine ever using any other glassware.
They have these at World Market as well-- and for cheaper, of course!
The Picardie at World Market are not the same as those at Willimas-Sonoma.
I've used the Picardie tumbler for years. But in the past couple of years when I've broken one it has exploded into hundreds of small pieces. My wife wants be to find something else but I still want them because nothing lasts as long.
I did buy mine at World Market but they have been going in and out of stock there. This is just one more source.
if you're in NYC, I've seen the Picardie tumblers at Bowery Kitchen Supply. Love those glasses! Mine are 20 years old and still endure with daily use.
